In June 2011, the NZ Human Rights Commission released Tracking Equality at Work, a report that picks up where the National Conversation about Work, the largest study of the New Zealand workforce ever done, left off. Tracking Equality at Work draws on work the Commission has been involved in such as promoting youth employment, monitoring women’s participation in employment, and managing aging workforce issues. The report makes a timely contribution to the discussion about equality at work that fits modern workplaces. A new initiative is the development of indicators selected to reflect all aspects of the employment cycle. |
