Nicky has extensive research skills and expertise in a wide range of New Zealand research projects, particularly in the area of vocational education and training. In the last decade she has led industry training sector development on literacy and numeracy and worked in national development roles in industry training organisations.
Graeme’s forte is human resources, change management and employment relations. He has also negotiated indigenous land rights claims in New Zealand and Australia. His work experience includes the public service, the Beehive and the trade union movement.
Maire has expertise in economic, gender, social, ethnic, spatial and sector analysis, and a particular interest in the economics of equity. Her experience includes strategy and public policy development in New Zealand, and evaluation, planning and fieldwork in developing countries.
Owen’s extensive experience in organisational development includes facilitating partnership processes and “Lean Thinking”; skill development and adult learning processes; change management; and other labour market issues. He also carries out programme evaluations and strategy formation in the area of regional and industry economic development.
